This wormwood was gifted to us by Sauna4Me during their visit, bringing with it a beautiful connection to tradition.

In Ukrainian folk tradition, wormwood — or yevshan-zillia — is connected to memory, longing, and the feeling of home.

At Saunawelt, the sauna experience is built around a simple cycle: heat, cooling, rest, and repeat. The heat is controlled, the cool down is part of the ritual, and the rest period gives your body time to settle.

A quick update for guests visiting tomorrow (Monday, July 20):

Our Aromatherapy Steam Room will be temporarily unavailable while we complete a necessary maintenance repair.

All other experiences—including the Finnish Sauna, Alpine Herbal Sauna, Cool Mist Room, Cold Bucket Shower, Infrared Loungers, and our indoor and outdoor lounges—will be open as usual.

We appreciate your understanding as we take care of our sauna house and look forward to welcoming you.
