October 13th marks 5 incredible years of being my own boss! 🥳💆‍♀️

Five years ago, I made the decision to stop building someone else's dream and start building my own. And WOW, what an amazing journey it has been!

After 16 years in the massage therapy profession, I can proudly say that I still absolutely LOVE what I do! ❤️

Running my own business hasn't always been easy. It's taken hard work, dedication, patience, countless hours of learning, and a whole lot of heart. But every challenge has helped me grow into a better therapist, business owner, and person.

I am SO PROUD of what I've built! 🥹

One of the greatest rewards has been the incredible people I've met along the way. My clients have become such a meaningful part of my life, and being trusted to help you feel better, move easier, and find a little peace in this busy world is something I will never take for granted.

Me, working on the same knots that were here last week:
“I'm tired of this, Grandpa!” 😩

My clients’ stress, posture, sleep habits, desk jobs, workouts, and general life choices:
“Well, THAT’S TOO DAMN BAD! You keep diggin’!” 🤣⛏️

Y’all… I have felt a MASSIVE amount of stress and tension in my clients lately. Shoulders up to the ears, jaws clenched, necks tight, backs full of knots—and sometimes I wish SO badly that I could follow everyone home and fix the things that are creating all that tension in the first place. 😂

But I can’t change your job.
I can’t make you sleep.
I can’t make you stretch.
I can’t eliminate the stress in your life.

So…I work on the knots. 💆‍♀️

And then I work on them again.
And again.
And again. 😂

Until the habits change, I suppose this is what we call job security. 🤣💪

Take care of yourselves, my lovely people. Your massage therapist can help undo some of what life does to your body—but what you do with your body during the other 167 hours of the week matters too! ❤️
