📚 Back-to-School Supply Drive

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we recognize that rising costs continue to impact many families. At Villa Toscana at Cypress Woods, we are committed to supporting our employees and their families by helping provide school supplies for their children and grandchildren.

We invite our community to join our management team in making a difference through our Back-to-School Supply Drive.

Donation Period: Now through August 1
First Day of School: August 12

Our goal is to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help students start the new school year prepared and confident. Donations of new backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, glue, scissors, tissues, and other basic school supplies are greatly appreciated.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps support the families who are such an important part of our Villa Toscana at Cypress Woods community.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued support as we work together to give back to those in need. We truly appreciate your help in making this school year a successful one for our employees' families.

Today is a bittersweet yet wonderful day here at Villa Toscana at Cypress Woods. We are proud to celebrate the promotion of our very own Melinda R., Director of Nursing, to Regional Compliance Nurse.

While we will truly miss her daily presence, her leadership, and the countless ways she has supported both our employees and residents, we are excited to see her take this next step in her career. Melinda has made a lasting impact on our community through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence.

Although she may be moving on to a new role, we know this is not goodbye—just “see you later,” as we look forward to her visits in the future.

Melinda, we are incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished during your time as our DON. Thank you for everything you have done for Villa Toscana. We wish you continued success and all the best in your new position.

What a wonderful morning here at Villa Toscana at Cypress Woods! We’re starting bright and early to prepare a special breakfast for our overnight CNAs as we kick off CNA Week.

This morning’s menu includes pancakes, sausage, beverages, and a small goodie bag as a token of our appreciation. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our Director of Nursing (DON) for your continued leadership and dedication.

We truly appreciate everything you do each day to care for our residents. Your compassion, hard work, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
