A new era of minimally invasive surgery is here.

We’re proud to introduce our newest robotic-assisted surgery technology—designed to give surgeons enhanced precision, control and visualization while supporting a minimally invasive approach.

For patients, minimally invasive surgery may offer benefits such as smaller incisions, less pain and a faster return to everyday life, depending on the procedure and individual patient.

This investment is more than new technology. It’s part of our commitment to bringing advanced surgical care closer to the people and communities we serve.

When you or a loved one needs emergency care, your closest option may be a freestanding emergency room (FSER).

An FSER provides 24/7 emergency care similar to a hospital emergency room, but it’s located separately from a hospital campus. Offering convenient access to emergency care, FSERs can help you get the care you need close to where you are. With more than 30 locations across the Greater Houston area, HCA Houston ER 24/7 provides adult and pediatric emergency care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.

Our NICU families and nurses turned the page on an incredible 421 reading sessions during the 2026 Babies with Books Read-A-Thon!

To support the 11-day event, we invited our community to join us through a book drive — and 90 books were donated in just the first 48 hours. This marks our second year participating in the friendly competition among NICUs that encourages families to read with their babies.

According to the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, reading to newborns can support early brain development, build a foundation for language and strengthen bonding with parents.

Our commitment to early literacy continues beyond the Read-A-Thon through the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation Raising a Reader program. New parents receive a bag with a book, literacy and brain development resources, and a Harris County Public Library card.

Sometimes, the right outfit is about so much more than what you wear. 💙

Our hospital’s collection for Dress for Success is well underway through our Women's Colleague Network, with our team members donating professional clothing and shoes to support women as they take important steps toward new opportunities.

A blazer can help someone walk into an interview standing a little taller. A pair of professional shoes can help her feel ready for that first day. And an outfit that makes her feel confident can be one more reminder that she belongs in the room.

We’re proud to support Dress for Success and its work to help women move forward with confidence, dignity and hope for what’s ahead.

For many people with blood cancer or other serious blood disorders, a blood stem cell or bone marrow transplant can offer hope — and it often starts with a donor.

According to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), most patients who need a transplant don’t have a fully matched donor in their family and rely on NMDP (formerly Be The Match) to help find one. NMDP ℠ is a global nonprofit leader in cell therapy that helps save the lives of patients with blood cancers and disorders.

As part of HCA Healthcare, we're proud to support this life-saving work through the Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Network — one of the nation's leading providers of unrelated bone marrow donor transplants in the U.S. Each year, this extensive network helps connect tens of thousands of patients with the care they need.

You could be someone’s match. Learn more and join the registry at https://bit.ly/4z5kBa5.

When Annistyn was born at 22 weeks and 2 days, weighing just 415 grams, or 14.6 ounces, she was admitted to our Level IV NICU at The Woman's Hospital of Texas, where she would spend the next 260 days receiving specialized neonatal care.

Her mom, Kelsey, remembers the neonatal nurses who stood beside their family throughout that journey. “They were there for us on our most difficult days, and they never gave up on Annistyn,” she shared.

Today, Annistyn is starting PreK3 and Kelsey, inspired by the nurses who cared for her daughter, is in nursing school with hopes of becoming a NICU nurse herself.

This , Annistyn and Kelsey’s story is a meaningful reminder of the lasting impact NICU care can have on a family. Read more: https://bit.ly/4yndytC
