When practicing "belly breathing" or similar exercises, it's important not to "force" the air down into the lower abdomen, as this can add tension and resistance. Instead, we try to "guide" the breath there through conscious intention and relaxation.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Generating Cycle refers to the natural sequence of events in which one pattern or phenomena leads to the next ensuring a harmonious systemic balance.

To use an example, Spring leads to Summer to Late Summer/Monsoon Season to Autumn to Winter and back to Spring. Unusual or unseasonal weather can often have a damaging effect on plants and animals who find their natural rythymn disturbed.
