Help us wish Michael Bartkoski the best as he completes his rural rotation with us next week!

Michael is a 3rd-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine from Overland Park, Ks who has been training with Dr. Walz and our team. He is interested in Orthopedics and hopes to be involved in testing new orthopedic instruments and surgical techniques in the future.

We’ve enjoyed having Michael at our facility and appreciate the compassion, dedication, and enthusiasm he has brought to our patients and community. Fun fact: Michael has completed four marathons, including three during medical school!

Thank you, Michael, and best of luck as you continue your medical education!

💙📱 Take Control of Chronic Conditions from Home 📱💙

Managing a chronic condition doesn't stop when you leave the clinic.

During Chronic Disease Awareness Month, we're highlighting AmberMed Medical Clinic's Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Program, designed to help patients stay connected to their healthcare team between office visits.

With RPM, patients can monitor important health measurements from home, with results sent directly to their provider for review.
Available devices include:
✅ Blood pressure cuffs
✅ Blood glucose monitors
✅ Weight scales
✅ Pulse oximeters

Remote monitoring can help patients better manage conditions such as:
❤️ High blood pressure
🩸 Diabetes
⚖️ Weight-related health concerns
🫁 Respiratory conditions

Interested in seeing if you qualify? Contact Kristal Walker at 785-677-4139 to learn more.

Better health starts with staying connected—and we're here to support you every step of the way.

As you celebrate this holiday weekend, please keep safety top of mind when using fireworks.
✔️ Always supervise children.
✔️ Keep a bucket of water or garden hose nearby.
✔️ Light fireworks one at a time and move away quickly.
✔️ Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
✔️ Keep spectators at a safe distance.
✔️ Consider attending a community fireworks display instead of lighting your own such as the spectacular Selden display!

Even with precautions, accidents can happen. Burns, eye injuries, and other fireworks-related emergencies require immediate medical attention.

🚑 If an emergency occurs, our Emergency Room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to provide care when you need it.

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and healthy holiday celebration! 🇺🇸✨
