May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and today we’re highlighting Adult Mental Health πŸ’š

Mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD are common β€” and they are treatable. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

The Health Department has a Hudson Social Worker who offers free 1:1 support and group-based programs for residents. If you or someone you care about could use support, please reach out to us to learn more.

Additional help is available:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month β€” a reminder that mental health is part of overall health and deserves care, support, and understanding. πŸ’š
At the ARC, we recognize that mental health and substance use often go hand in hand. Many individuals and families face co-occurring disorders (dual diagnosis), and lasting recovery happens when we support the whole person.
This month, we encourage our community to:
πŸ’š Check in with one another
πŸ’š Reduce stigma through open conversation
πŸ’š Seek support when things feel overwhelming
The ARC is here to help with:
βœ”οΈ Recovery coaching
βœ”οΈ Treatment & detox referrals
βœ”οΈ Peer support meetings
βœ”οΈ Family support & community resources
Recovery is possible β€” and no one has to do it alone.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’š

Mental health is part of overall health, and this month is a reminder that it’s okay to pause, check in with yourself, and take small steps to manage stress before it becomes burnout.

Stress can affect anyone, and simple supports like staying connected, taking breaks from news/social media, getting rest, limiting caffeine, and giving yourself flexibility on hard days can make a difference.

Follow along throughout the month as we share information, resources, and reminders to support mental health and well-being in our community.
