The answer is tinnitus!

That ringing, buzzing, humming, or whooshing sound in your ears may be more than just annoying. Tinnitus is often associated with hearing loss, and for some people, it’s one of the first signs that something has changed with their hearing.

If you’ve noticed sounds that no one else can hear, don’t just ignore them. A hearing test can help us understand what’s going on.

Hearing loss can affect people at any age—and you don’t have to wait to do something about it.

In this video, one of our patients shares her story about living with hearing loss, how hearing aids have helped her in everyday life, and how Vocational Rehabilitation helped her access the hearing care she needed.

Her story is a great reminder that the sooner you address hearing loss, the sooner you can get back to communicating, working, connecting, and fully participating in the things that matter most.

If you’ve noticed changes in your hearing, don’t wait - call us to schedule a hearing test. 727-378-4383

Today’s hearing aids are smaller and more discreet than most people realize. We compared one to everyday items like a quarter, paper clip, key, AirPod, and more — and the difference might surprise you!
Small device. Powerful technology. A big difference in how you hear and connect with the people around you.
If hearing loss has been making conversations harder, it may be time to see just how far hearing aids have come.

Hearing loss doesn’t always mean you suddenly can’t hear. It often happens gradually, which can make the early signs easy to miss.

Some common signs of hearing loss include:

Asking people to repeat themselves
Turning the TV or radio up louder than others prefer
Feeling like people are mumbling
Struggling to follow conversations in restaurants or crowded places
Having trouble hearing on the phone
Feeling tired after conversations because you’re working harder to listen
Avoiding social situations because it’s difficult to keep up

If any of these sound familiar, a hearing test can help you understand what’s going on. Hearing changes are common, and catching them early can make it easier to stay connected to the people and conversations that matter.

Can you see his hearing aid? (Hint: You have to look really close!)

It’s amazing how far hearing technology has come. Today’s devices are incredibly discreet and lightweight, but they pack a massive punch when it comes to sound quality. You get all the clarity, none of the bulk.

Call us to schedule a hearing test and try on a pair of hearing aids to see if you can hear a difference. 727-378-4383
