Many people assume that insurance or medical review decisions are based on a single report. In reality, these decisions are often made by looking at multiple pieces of information together, including clinical findings, patient-reported symptoms, functional limitations, physician notes, imaging reports, treatment history, and other supporting records.

Pain is important, but it is usually not the only factor considered. Functional performance, objective testing, and the overall medical record also play an important role in the review process.

At TAG Physical Therapy, we value clear communication, objective documentation, and transparency. If you ever have questions about your evaluation, treatment plan, or documentation, our team is here to help explain the process.

Many people assume that treatment costs are unclear until after the visit. In reality, patients should be informed about their care and fees before treatment begins. Clear communication helps patients understand what to expect and supports a more comfortable, informed experience.

At TAG Physical Therapy, we believe in explaining the plan of care and fees in advance so there are no surprises. We do not use hidden fees, and we do not overcharge. Our goal is to provide respectful, transparent, and fair care for every patient.

If you ever have questions about your evaluation, treatment plan, or expected costs, our team is here to help explain the process clearly.

Dizziness is not always something to ignore. Symptoms such as vertigo, imbalance, and lightheadedness may be related to the vestibular system in the inner ear. A common cause is BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), which can trigger spinning sensations with position changes.

At TAG Physical Therapy, our APTA-certified vestibular rehabilitation therapists provide personalized care to help reduce dizziness, improve balance, and lower fall risk.

If you are dealing with vertigo, BPPV, or balance concerns, we are here to help.

We offer Schroth-based scoliosis therapy led by BSPTS-certified physical therapists. Our therapists have been trained and mentored by Dr. Manuel Rigo of Barcelona, Spain, a world leader in conservative scoliosis management.

Scoliosis is a complex, three-dimensional condition that can affect posture, movement, breathing, comfort, and confidence. Our approach focuses on curve-specific exercises, postural correction, movement retraining, and patient education to help manage scoliosis in both children and adults.

Our scoliosis program may include:
• Detailed assessment and curve classification
• Customized exercise programs based on your specific curve pattern
• Movement analysis and postural correction
• X-ray review
• Bracing recommendations when appropriate
• Ongoing education and support for patients and families

Our primary goal is to help prevent curve progression while also improving posture, strength, flexibility, breathing capacity, body mechanics, and overall quality of life.

If you or a loved one may be dealing with scoliosis, contact TAG Physical Therapy of Hudson to learn more about our personalized treatment approach.

Post-op recovery goes more smoothly when the right documents come with you.

Because each surgeon may have different rehabilitation instructions, bringing your post-op paperwork helps us plan treatment safely and appropriately from the start.

For your first post-op PT visit, please bring:
• Referral or PT prescription
• Operative report / op note
• Post-op rehab protocol
• Surgeon’s restrictions / precautions

Our clinic will follow your surgeon’s post-op protocol when provided.

It’s Sleep Awareness Week. Here’s the rehab truth: when sleep is low, pain sensitivity often goes up—and recovery can feel slower.
This week we’re sharing simple, PT-friendly strategies to support better sleep without “medicalizing” it.

Sleep Awareness Week is coming (Mar 8–Mar 14).
A PT-friendly reminder: sleep is when your body does a lot of its tissue repair and nervous-system “reset.” When sleep is off, pain can feel louder, stiffness can linger, and rehab progress can feel slower.

Try this simple one-week reset starting tonight:
✅ Pick a consistent wake-up time and keep it for 7 days (yes, even weekends).
