📣📣 WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS📣📣

We have recently undergone a change of ownership. Dr. Crawford- who many of you call your dentist went from being an associate in the office to the sole owner of the practice.

What does this mean for our patients? Right now, we plan to be in network with all the previous insurance companies. Some of you have received mail from Aetna and Metlife, saying we are out of network. However, this is NOT long term and you do NOT need to find another office that takes your insurance. We plan to be back in network with your insurance company soon and can still see you for necessary treatment! We are honoring previous treatment plans which means no changes are in place for our established patients.

We appreciate the support and loyalty all of our patients have shown throughout this time and look forward to continuing to serve our community and helping each and every one of you with your overall oral health goals. If you have any questions regarding this we are happy to answer them. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Is iced coffee bad for your teeth? Whether you like yours hot or iced, all coffee is acidic and can lead to tooth sensitivity and increase the risk of cavities if consumed in excess. It can also stain your teeth over time. Many commercially available iced coffees contain added sugars or sweetened syrups, which can promote tooth decay and gum disease if consumed frequently. But don’t worry - we won’t ask you to take away your iced coffee for good!

To minimize potential negative effects on your teeth while enjoying iced coffee:
- Limit consumption of sugary or sweetened varieties.
- Drink through a straw positioned toward the back of your mouth to reduce contact with teeth.
- Rinse your mouth with water after drinking coffee to help neutralize acidity and reduce staining.
- Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth at least twice a day and flossing daily.
- Visit your dentist regularly for check-ups and professional cleanings.
