BBQ Luncheon with Our Male Residents 🍽️πŸ”₯

Our male residents recently enjoyed their rescheduled BBQ luncheon from Big Guys BBQβ€”and it was well worth the wait! The menu featured a mouthwatering selection of brisket, ribs, pulled pork, bacon, sausage, and chicken. The aroma alone was phenomenal!
To complement the BBQ, we served roadhouse beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and mac & cheese. Residents appreciated the opportunity to sample a little bit of everything while relaxing and sharing conversation with fellow residents.
It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, laughter, and connection. We are truly grateful for the chance to spend time with these outstanding gentlemen and enjoy such a meaningful gathering.

Our Osceola Campus hosted its 2nd Annual Relay Race on Wednesday afternoon, bringing together five enthusiastic teams for a spirited competition filled with teamwork, strategy, and friendly rivalry.
Each team was made up of four players and a coach. After receiving instructions about the relay tasks, teams quickly strategized, assigning each member to specific challenges. The event concluded with several tasks completed collaboratively, highlighting teamwork and communication.

CBRF Purple Butterflies – Carrie B, Jess J, Joie B, Amy A

Bone Crushers – Kayla T, Mel Y, Rachel H, Sydney B & Coach Morgan A
Chickens Crossing Highways – Aimee M, Steph D, Naomi A, Crystal J & Coach Karyl J

The competition was fierce, with plenty of playful banter and determination on display. Last year’s champions, Bone Crushers, came in ready to defend their title, but the field was strong and the race was tightβ€”only seconds separated the top teams at the finish.

✏️🌳 This month, our Generosity in Action group began volunteering with The Sharing Tree organization!
If you haven't heard of them, their mission is to provide new school supplies to students and educators in Hudson and Somerset, Wisconsin. We were all excited to lend a hand and are hopeful this will become an ongoing partnership. 😊
Our first task was bundling pencilsβ€”thousands of pencils! ✏️✏️✏️ The photos show our group hard at work bundling mechanical pencils for local students and teachers.
One of the things we enjoy most about volunteering together is having time to talk about the who, what, why, and where behind the organizations we support. There are still plenty of pencils left to bundle, so we'll need another one or two meetings to finish the job!
