Columbia County Mental Health Center

Columbia County Mental Health Center Columbia County Mental Health Center is dedicated to serving the residents of our county struggling with a variety of mental health disorders.

The Columbia County Department of Human Services is pleased to offer you this website as we expand our efforts to assist residents in obtaining the support they need. The Department of Human Services is a branch of Columbia County government which plans, develops and monitors services for Columbia County residents who experience mental illness, addictions or developmental-cognitive disabilities. O

ur charge is to continually determine what is needed to enhance the quality of life for those adults and children experiencing these disorders and then meet any un-met needs identified to ensure that appropriate recovery opportunities are accessible and affordable to everyone. The Department of Human Services is proud of our community’s network of public and private not-for-profit treatment providers serving our vulnerable friends, neighbors and relatives. The Department of Human Services’ mission is to develop and maintain a coordinated integrated continuum of services which permits all individuals to reach their personal potential and live their lives with dignity and independence. It is our belief that recovery is obtainable, treatment is effective and that the role of government is to see that high quality services are accessible and affordable to the maximum extent possible. We value the principles of community inclusion with respect to housing, employment, socialization and health care for individuals with disabilities. We continually strive to combat stigma related to disabilities and promote a message of hope to anyone who may be experiencing despair and isolation. While the Department of Human Services monitors a wide array of services, we also directly operate an outpatient Mental Health Clinic for adults and children, as well as a Case Management Program for adults and children. We are here to serve you in any way we can. We welcome your comments and feedback. Please contact us if we may be of assistance.
