Our residents absolutely love the Funstrummers! 🎶❤️
After their performances, it's not uncommon to see our residents personally thanking the musicians and sharing just how much they appreciate the time, talent, and joy they bring to our community.
And here's a fun fact: many of our residents have a special connection to the Funstrummers. Some were even part of the group themselves when they were younger, while others remember listening to them perform at different venues throughout the years!
It's amazing to see how music can bring back memories, connect generations, and create new moments of joy. Thank you to the Funstrummers for continuing to share your music with our residents! 🎸🎤💛

This Funstrummers performance was truly one for the books! 🌺🎶❤️
While the event had all the fun and tropical spirit of a luau-inspired celebration, it was also a very special dedication honoring the history and legacy of the SV Singers.
We celebrated Sam V., who started it all back in 2016 with the group's very first performance during the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. We also recognized Tom G., who continued leading the SV Singers from July 4, 2017, through July 4, 2026. After nearly a decade of leadership, Tom has officially passed the baton to fellow SV Singer Joan P.! 🎤👏
We shared a special tribute video honoring the journey of the SV Singers and the dedication, talent, and memories created along the way.
Now, a new chapter begins! Joan will take over as the group's leader, with the SV Singers' first official performance under her leadership coming this September. 🎶✨
Thank you to Sam, Tom, Joan, and all of the SV Singers who have made this group such a meaningful part of our community. Here's to honoring the past and celebrating what's still to come! ❤️

Keeping our residents moving! 🛵💙
Modesto Mobility Plus is our go-to for scooter and walker repairs, purchases, and all things mobility. We love that they bring their expertise right here to our community, making it convenient for residents to get the support and equipment they need.
Our next Mobility Plus Clinic is September 16th, where residents can have their scooters and walkers checked out, explore new mobility equipment, and ask questions during their Q&A session. It's also a great opportunity for residents who are transitioning to assisted mobility to learn about their options and find what works best for them.
And of course, there are plenty of fun options to check out, including scooters in a variety of colors and the new all-carbon-fiber scooter—which is lightweight, sleek, and fast! 🛵💨
Even Kristen had to stop by and see what all the excitement was about! 😂
A big thank you to Modesto Mobility Plus for continuing to visit our residents and bringing their knowledge and services directly to our community. ❤️

Good food, good company, and great conversation made for a wonderful Men's Dinner Social! 🍕🍺♠️
The Activity Center was filled with laughter as the guys gathered for an afternoon of pizza, card games, music, and refreshments, including b**r, soda, and plenty of friendly conversation.
It was the perfect opportunity to relax, share stories, enjoy a little friendly competition, and simply spend time together. Events like these remind us that some of the best moments are the simplest ones with good friends, good food, and a welcoming place to connect.

Where would your bird call home? 🌿🐦
That was the question our residents explored during this imaginative arts and crafts activity. Using birds that have been spotted at the nearby Hughson Arboretum as inspiration, everyone designed unique habitats and let their creativity take the lead. Some creations were realistic, while others took a more imaginative approach. One resident even decided their habitat would be shared by an emu and a wood dove; a pairing that definitely sparked a few laughs! One towering bird and one tiny bird living side by side? Why not?

Senior Discount Wednesdays have quickly become a favorite tradition! 🍉🍌🛒
Our residents always enjoy a trip to J&J, where they can stock up on fresh groceries, browse the bakery, and, of course, have a little fun along the way.
Twilia couldn't resist comparing a giant melon to her head. And let's just say it was a close match! 🍈😂
Meanwhile, Ralph found himself enjoying a fresh pastry while chatting away on his "banana phone." 🍌☎️ We sure hope he has an unlimited plan!
