We are so sad for our neighbors! Incredibly thankful that everyone evacuated safely with no injuries. Thank you to the Hugo Fire Department and other assisting agencies for quickly extinguishing the fire before it spread further. Wade Hallstrom & Heidi Schoenecker Hallstrom

We received an update from the Dairyland games on our buddy Andy's competition this weekend. You ready?
* Andy Competed in 8 events, 5 running and 3 throwing.
* he qualified for nationals in every competition he competed in.
* he now holds the national record in the 1500 and broke his own national record in the 800 by 13 seconds!!!
* Andy also beat the national javelin record by 8 meters!
Well done Andy! Great support from coach Adam and Andy's cheering section. We are looking forward to seeing him compete in the Twin Cities in June. Amazing start to the competitive season!!
WYT Mobility Clinics Gillette Children's Ottobock

Heidi's Legs volunteers with Wiggle Your Toes Mobility Clinic Sunday 8:30-10:30 am at the UofM Fieldhouse. If you want to meet a community that is positive and uplifting, join us. WYT encourages and helps guide amputees to “Heal, Recover, Flourish”.

Amputees of any ability welcome. Feel free to socialize, build strength, walk, jog, run, and/or you can request a trial. Volunteers consist of coaches, prosthetists and technicians, physical therapists, and students learning prosthetics, and more. All volunteers welcome!

Tomorrow, Sun Mar 22 Chris B. will have pickleball set up if you are interested in learning how to play.

Photo’s are of an AK (above knee) amputee who had not run in over 30 years. Many happy tears were shed the day she first trialed a running blade. Lisa thank you for allowing our family to be by your side!

Last evening, Heidi's Legs...Wade & I (Heidi) attended the Wiggle Your Toes Winter Charity Event. Another year of great conversations with amazing people, a live auction, silent auction, plus raffle tickets, food, and drinks. The presentation never disappoints. Courtney Godfrey and Chris Egert did a great job again this year. It’s always exciting to hear which Veteran is chosen. This year the recipient was Mark Seifert and keynote speaker was reality TV star Nelson Thomas from MTV's The Challenge. Music by Martin Zellar and the Hardways. Bonus: stopped by the table early on and bought a new sweatshirt. I was too busy socializing that didn't capture as many pictures as usual. Loved seeing everyone last night. Hope to see you and many more next year!

Today back at the Capitol for HF 3339 Coverage of Orthotic and Prosthetic Devices with the House Health Finance and Policy Committee Hearing. Excited that it passed thru for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. So Every BODY Can Move Minnesota!

March 20th we were at the Capitol supporting SF 3351 Coverage requirement for orthotic and prosthetic devices. The Committee on Health and Human Services laid it over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. So Every BODY Can Move Minnesota!
