There is a structure fire in downtown Humboldt. We do not have power and won’t for the remainder of the afternoon. Please email us with any scheduling questions!! So sorry for the inconvenience. We will not be seeing any patients for the remainder of the afternoon and hope to resume business as usual tomorrow morning.

We are fine. Please pray for all those involved including our firefighters.

Final Big Announcement of this week! (I know it has been crazy🤪)

Please welcome my new Office Manager/Billing Specialist/Dr. Cindy Wrangler, Robyn Weisbrich!

Here is a little about her:
Robyn and her husband, John, have called Humboldt home for the past 27 years. Together they raised four sons (Cody, Joshua, Jacob, and Cole). They have three rescue dogs, Titan, Hondo and Axel. She has more than 20 years of experience in optometry, along with additional experience working at a school and as a recpetionist.

I am so excited to have Robyn at Function First. She has already been here over a month! She is a hard worker and does not get rattled by chaos, which is good if you have ever spent a day in our office 😀. She is funny, kind, and has just been the biggest blessing through this transition period. Not many people would have stuck out this last month with the changes we have had, and I am so very grateful for her.

Please extend her well wishes!! Without my staff, there would be no Function First ❤ (Seriously I would run away 🤣)

Yesterday marks the second big change for Function First Spine and Sport this week!

We are back to one location in the beautiful downtown Humboldt, IA❤️

The Fort Dodge office was successful. It was busy and we loved being able to provide care more convenient for our Webster County patients, but honestly it was never Dr. Cindy’s dream or intention to be one her and 2 locations. Life is crazy and God is the ultimate controller of everything and we can’t wait to see what is in store for us. Lessons were learned and laughs were definitely had, but this move is what is best for her, her family, and ultimately the business. We appreciate all the patients who are staying with us and those that aren’t.

Tomorrow marks the last official day at the office for Lilly. She has been the person behind the phone, lady with the billing knowledge, and all around pain in my butt…I mean great employee🤣.

She has stood/sat next to me during some of my best days and all of the worst days. She has been the person that has helped me through some of the toughest days, even the ones no one else knew about. She has, and I know will be in the future, one of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders. She tells me how it is. She does not let me be ridiculous…well she tries 😁.

She has helped all of the patients at Function First in both small ways and big ways. She has advocated for so many of you for both your insurance benefits and your care. She truly cares about you, the patient. She will be missed, but she gets to go be at home with the ones she loves the most!
Let us all extend some love and gratitude to Lilly!!
