Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank Blood donation is a short, simple process that enhances and saves the lives of local patients.

Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank was incorporated in 1960 by local physicians and community leaders who recognized the need for an organization to manage the blood supply for the local hospitals. Today, CPBB needs over 75,000 blood donations per year to treat local patients in 14 South Central Pennsylvania Hospitals.

There will be a blood drive on June 8, 2026 at the Verandah Room on the York Fairgrounds property in the name of Lt. Dave Godfrey.
