Several years ago, I was genuinely scared to ride a bike. 😂🚲

So naturally, on a family vacation, I rented THIS.

Yes. Those are training wheels. Very, very large training wheels. 😂

And honestly? I loved them.

I still don’t love riding bikes, but I’ve definitely advanced back to two wheels. And looking at this picture now, it feels like such a perfect reminder of something I talk about all the time in therapy:

It’s okay to need extra support while you find your balance.

Start where you are. Use the training wheels. Go at your own pace. Build confidence. And when you’re ready, you take them off.

Progress doesn’t have to look impressive to anyone else. It just has to be progress.

And for the record… I still reserve the right to put the training wheels back on. 😂❤️
