Who knew a game of Jenga could build more than just a tower? 💛🧱

In occupational therapy, **Emotional Regulation Jenga** turns a favorite game into an opportunity to build important life skills. As each block is pulled, children answer questions, practice coping strategies, identify emotions, or talk through real-life scenarios in a fun, low-pressure way.

This activity helps children:
🧠 Recognize and label their emotions
💬 Express their feelings appropriately
🌈 Learn healthy coping strategies
🤝 Build communication and social skills
💛 Increase self-awareness and confidence

When learning feels like play, children are more engaged—and those emotional regulation skills become easier to use in everyday life.

Baby can sit… so what’s next? ✨
Once your baby has mastered sitting but before crawling takes off —> SIDE-SITTING is the next key skill to build!
It helps unlock important developmental milestones like transitions in and out of sitting, moving into kneeling, and eventually crawling.
This position strengthens the core, improves hip mobility, and bridges the gap between sitting and more advanced mobility skills.
Follow along for simple ways to practice and support side-sitting at home 🤍
