🌀 Tell us your specialties:
I practice psychiatry through a neurobiological and systems-based lens, focusing on how brain chemistry, physiology, biology, and behavioral patterns interact. I specialize in complex presentations where mood, cognition, biology, and life intersect using targeted pharmacology and precise clinical insight. My goal is to identify underlying patterns and translate them into clear, individualized treatment.
🌀 Why did you go into your field?
I was always drawn to a field that allowed for continuity of care and the opportunity to develop deep expertise. During the CV19 pandemic, I found my way into psychiatry and quickly realized it was the right fit. I was drawn to the ability to build long-term relationships with patients, while also engaging in the complexity of psychopharmacology and brain science. Psychiatry uniquely blends the nuance of human behavior with the precision of biology and chemistry, offering a balance of connection and intellectual depth that I find both meaningful and fulfilling.
🌀 What do you enjoy most about your career?
What I love most about my work is being present with patients through their hardest, lowest moments. Truly hearing their struggles, and then having the privilege of witnessing their growth and successes. While psychiatry doesn’t always offer a clear “cure,” it creates space for meaningful change. More stability, improved quality of life, and moments of real joy. Being able to walk alongside patients as that unfolds is what makes the work so meaningful.
