Mrs. Kitty Renee Dominguez, 69, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Jackson Madison County Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday June 8, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday June 8, 2026 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM.
Kitty was born October 30, 1956 in Grundy, Virginia to the late Raymond Buford Thacker and Opal Nadine Thacker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Kelly Fahy and Terri Ohlrich.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raul Dominguez of Jackson, Tennessee; two daughters, Angela Balentine of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Lori (Jay) Moore of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister, Tessa (Bubba) Pritchard of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother, David Thacker; six grandchildren, Vincent Curatola, Kayla Balentine, Brittany Balentine, Lindsey Burney, Kelsey Watson and Ethan Balentine and six great-grandchildren.

Ms. Betty Jane Scates, 89, of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away at Jackson Madison Co General Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2026.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Brother James Keen and Brother Randy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:30PM until 8:00PM and on Sunday from 10:00AM until 2:00PM.
Honoring her as Pallbearers will be Connor Hollingsworth, Hayden Lewis, Malik Mathes, Stan Scates, Austin Starr, and Michael Wadley.
Ms. Scates was born on December 25, 1936, in Huntingdon TN to the late William Albert and Edna Bennett Smith. After she graduated high school, she married her best friend and high school sweetheart Ray Scates on November 26, 1955.
She was a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in helping in many ways for as long as she was able. She retired from Publix Shirt Factory (Thomas Bradford) where she worked for 40+ years as a sewing machine operator. She was also co-owner of Scates Grocery & Market in Hollow Rock where she worked part-time until it was sold in 1975.
Jane loved the Lord, her many friends at HMBC, and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and even a great-great-grandmother.
Jane is survived by one daughter Debbie Devault, and one son Mike (Lori) Scates, one brother Billy (Patsy) Smith. She also leaves three grandchildren, Melissa Cox, Monica Hollingsworth, and Jonathan (Kristin) Devault, six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Austin) Starr, Kristen Cox, Kylie Hollingsworth, Connor (Josalyn) Hollingsworth, Kasper Malchow and Kaylee Devault, three great-great-grandchildren Riley, William and Baylor and a very special niece Linda Cursey.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Scates, who passed away September 25, 2024, three sisters Evonne Smith, Bobbie Jean Rich, and Wanda Workman, grandson William Devault, and grandson-in-law Shane Cox.

Mr. Harlan Jerome Johnson, 65, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Life Care of Bruceton, Tennessee.

Harlan was born September 17, 1960 to the late Raymond and Loyce Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Johnson Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Elisa Johnson; one son Jonathan Johnson; two daughters, Jillian Johnson and Daniela Martinez; one brother Dannie Johnson; step children Juan Martinez, Maria Martinez, Erika (Jose Mayen) Martinez, Melissa Martinez and Eduardo Martinez; five grandchildren, Madison, Haley, Colton, Jadyn and Christian; five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lisa Jean Fields, born May 28, 1969, in Huntingdon, passed away at her home on May 7, 2026.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday May 12, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Brother Clint Ezell and Susan Breeden officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday May 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday May 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.

She was united in marriage to Jason Fields on June 23, 1987, and together they shared a lifelong bond built on love and family.

Lisa was a devoted mother to her three children: Morgan (Joseph) Morrissett of Lonoke, Arkansas, Seth (Julie) Fields of Ramer, Tennessee and Blane Fields of Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Her grandchildren were the joy of her life: Romie Morrissett, Rhett Morrissett, Rookie Morrissett, Jed Fields, and Clara Jane Fields. She treasured every moment spent with them and lit up when sharing with her friends about them.

She is also survived by her mother, Jean (Phil) Doyle of Henry, Tennessee, and one sister, Amy (Nick) Oatsvall of Henry, TN

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, David Kirksey; one brother, Chris Kirksey; and grandmother, Alice Kirksey.

After graduating from UT Martin, Lisa began her nursing career in 1989 and faithfully dedicated her life to caring for others at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was known for her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to both her patients and coworkers. Nursing was not simply her profession, but her calling, and she carried it out with grace, strength, and a servant’s heart throughout her life.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her caring spirit, strength, sweet treats, and the endless love she gave to her family and friends.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Joseph Morrissett, Jeff Carter, Marty Towater, Jamie Towater, John Sanders, and Tommy Decanter.

Mrs. Ann Pearson Smith, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Thursday April 9, 2026 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Ann was born October 17, 1971 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to Earnest Melton and Josephine Melton.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earnest Melton.
She is survived by her husband, Prather Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; three daughters, Asia L. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson; six sisters, Martha Ann Lowe, Shirley Jane (Michael) Reed, Delores Sue Green, Mildred Kay Willis, Nadine Herndon and Tena Melissa Hicks; niece/godchild, Tina K. Willis; niece, Christina Drinkard; two nephews, Thomas Hicks and Thomas Green.

Dennis was born July 31, 1957 in Bruceton, Tennessee to the late Tom P. Horn and Betty Williams.
He is survived by four sons Michael (Amy) Horn of Alsip, Illinois, Sean Katcher of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Matt (Harmony) Horn of Franklin, Tennessee and Denny Horn of Country Club Hills, Illinois; two brothers, Thomas (Patricia) Horn of Huntingdon and Kenny (Carol) Horn of Tinley Park, Illinois; six grandchildren, Haze Horn, Sevin Horn, Reighn Horn, Amy Horn, Kayla Katcher and Keagan Katcher.

Mr. George Robert “Gus” Radford, 82, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday March 28, 2026 at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. Tim Atkins and Todd Rose officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday March 27, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church on Saturday March 28, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
Gus was born December 9, 1943 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late W.V. Radford Jr. and Martha Elizabeth Radford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Radford.
Gus attended Huntingdon High School, after graduating, he pursued higher education at University of the South and University of Memphis where he earned his Juris Doctor. With his degree, he went on to work as a District Attorney for 24 years. Gus found pride in his community and was a notable Huntingdon Mustangs supporter. He enjoyed his work as a basketball referee. As a result, he was inducted into the Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. In addition to his love for local sports, he was also an avid golfer and Memphis Tigers fan. Gus was a long-time member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. He loved his family and they will fondly remember him as a great story-teller.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Radford of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one daughter, Elizabeth (Jo Kolkmeier) Radford of St. Louis, Missouri; one son, Will (Beth) Radford of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister, Virginia Voss of Fairfax, Virginia; two grandchildren, Michael Radford and Katherine Radford.
