Ms. Nancy B. French of Puryear, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026 at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation in Paris, Tennessee.
There are no arrangements to announce.
Ms. French was born August 25, 1936 in Miston, Tennessee to the late William Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Bottoms) French. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Joe Roberts and three brothers, Walter French, Jim French and David French.
She is survived by one brother, Henry French of Trezevant, Tennessee; three sons, Johnny (Diane) Bailey, Herschel (Sherry) Bailey and Sammy (Patricia) Walker, all three of Huntingdon, Tennessee. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Emma Lou Story, 92, of Lexington, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie, Tennessee. Brother Andrew Stokes officiating.

Emma was born February 5, 1934 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Lonzo Hill and Ola Hill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Story; one son, Monte Story; one daughter, Bunnie Sue Rumley and one grandson, Jesse Story.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Johnny (Tabatha) Story, Stacie “Greene” Hepple and Sean (Misty) Story; seven great- grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.

Julia (Judy) Dill, 74, of Huntingdon, TN went peacefully to her eternal home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, after a hard fought battle against pancreatic cancer.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday October 15, 2026 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home Thursday October 15, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.

She was born on May 20, 1952, and since that day, her corner of the world was forever changed by her positive attitude, go-getter mentality, and strong spirit. Julia may have been her birth name, but she was known by her friends as Judy, and to those who knew and loved her best, she was “Ju Ju.” She was happily married to her loving and very devoted husband, Steve, for 52 years, and in those years, they attended many Mustangs sporting events together, and she will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest fans in Mustang history. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntingdon, TN where she shared an incredible bond with the ladies in her Sunday School Class. One of her favorite things in life was good food, especially sweets, and even more than that, sharing good food with her older brother, Harrell, who could frequently be seen leaving her house with grocery bags full of food. She spent some of the last months of her life caring for her grandson, Rhett. Being a grandmother to Rhett and mom to her son, Jess, were the greatest joys of her life. Her loved ones share fond stories about her, many of them including her falling often and losing her glasses or being comically bad at board games, but all of them including her steadfast love and loyalty for her loved ones, her selflessness for her family, and her simple, joyful way of living that will leave a legacy far past her 74 years of life. She now rests in heaven, where she has bravely and graciously earned her eternal rest and heard the words, “well done good and faithful servant.”

Judy, Mom, Granna, Aunt, Friend, JuJu - Our lives will never be the same without you, but small pieces of you will live in us forever. You loved us fiercely, faced everyday with energy and purpose, and showed strength in even the most difficult times, and we will carry that with us for the rest of our lives. We will spend everyday looking forward to you greeting us at those pearly gates, and in the meantime, we hope that heaven has put down a little extra carpet for you.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Gracie Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Dill of Huntingdon, TN; her son, Jess (Katie) Dill of Huntingdon, TN; her brother, Harrell (Joyce) Allen of Camden Tennessee; her niece, Anissa (Eric) Swenson, of Huntingdon, TN; her grandson, Rhett Dill; her great nieces, Allyn (Nick) May and Adyn (Bear) Swenson; her great-great niece, Mary Wilson May; her best friend, soul sister, and personal nurse, Phyllis Taylor; her brother-in-law, Dwayne (Bianca) Dill of San Antonio, TX; her sister-in-law, Pam (Mike) Butler of Darden, TN; her nieces, Abby and Martha Dill; her nephews: Jack and Henry (Mariah) Dill; many beloved friends and community members with whom she had treasured relationships.

Mr. Charles “Bob” Alton Hodge, 79, of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Tuesday October 6, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday October 8, 2026 at Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Farmville Cemetery. Brother Tim Maness and Brother Nick Cobb officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home Wednesday October 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM after visitation at the Funeral Home, he will be taken to Yuma Missionary Baptist Church and visitation will continue until time of services at 1:00 PM on Thursday October 8, 2026.
Bob was born June 27, 1947 in Yuma, Tennessee to the late Max Hodge and Marie Hodge. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Crain Hodge; their infant son; son, Michael Ross; two sisters, Joy “Pig” Hodge and Kathy “Kat” Brown and two brothers, Bill Hodge and Donald Hodge; one nephew, W.D. Patton.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Johnson of Buchanan, Tennessee; one daughter, Lindsey (Nicholas) Cobb of Clarksburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Carolyn McGuire of Bruceton, Tennessee and Sharon (Lynn) Davidson of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Danny (Rhonda) Hodge of Yuma, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Brayden Cobb and Trae Cobb; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was a member of Yuma Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Earl Ray Kee, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday September 30, 2026.

Earl Ray was born September 15, 1936 to the late Lewis Kee and Jewell Kee. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Earlene Kee; one sister June Kee Pritchard; one grandson, Chad Ray Kee; one son-in-law David Spain.
He loved traveling with his family and friends on trips. He enjoyed 20 plus years at K & K Market serving and helping.
He is survived by one daughter, Tara Kee Spain of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one son, Tony (Debbie) Kee of The Villages, Florida; one brother Richard (Barbara) Kee of Lewisburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Heath (Emerald) Spain and Ashley (Hunter) Hastings; two great-grandchildren, Harper Hastings and Porter Hastings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ray McDaniel, 88, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Cherrywood Post Acute in McKenzie.

Ray was born September 24, 1937 to the late Zelmer McDaniel and Hattie McDaniel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Willie Powers, Juanita Frantz, Pearl Davis and Edna Faye Blankenship; one brother, Ted McDaniel.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patsy McDaniel; one daughter, Teresa (Russell) Tucker; one son, Stanley (Dione) McDaniel; four grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Tucker, Melissa (Bryan) Moffitt, Seth (Brooke) McDaniel and Ryan (Rachel) McDaniel; seven great-grandchildren, Hannah Tucker, Brookelyn Baker, Makinley Moffitt, Ryver Moffitt, Whitley Moffitt, Blaze McDaniel and Della McDaniel.
Ray was a proud member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

Brenda was retired from Region Bank.
Brenda also owned & operated The City Pig restaurant in downtown Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Parish of Jackson, Tennessee; one brother Rudy Collins; one sister Gloria Robinson and several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Altom was born January 11, 1955. He was a member of Huntingdon Lodge #106 32nd Degree and Scottish Rite Consistory.
He is survived by one daughter, Kristen Altom of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one son, Brett (Makayla) Altom of Clarksburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Gracie Altom, Cordie Warren, Griffin Warren, Ellie McKendree, Jace McKendree and Bronxx Altom; he was known as “Pa” to host of friends and family.
