Day 2 of Parker Miami wrapped up and what a day it was!
We dove deeper into the connection between the brain and pain, explored pelvic floor palpation, discussed how scars (including hysterectomy scars) can influence the pelvic floor and movement patterns, and finished the day learning about one of my favorite topics—how sleep impacts health, healing, and longevity.
As a volunteer during class, I got to let the instructor use my hysterectomy scars for demonstration, which made the learning experience even more personal and eye-opening. Bonus: I walked away with another book to add to my ever-growing collection!
And because Parker knows how to do continuing education right, the evening ended with great food, drinks, entertainment, and some amazing conversations. One of the best parts of these seminars isn’t just the education—it’s the friendships and connections that happen when you’re surrounded by people who are passionate about helping others.
I came for the knowledge, but I’m leaving with new ideas, new friendships, and plenty of tools to bring back to my patients.
Thank you, Parker, for another incredible educational experience.
