This trend got me curious…
I’ve always remembered 2016 through the lens of loss — the year Micah left this earthly realm.

But looking back, I see how much was quietly unfolding.

2016 was the year I taught at my first yoga retreat. The year I first visited Joshua Tree — a place that later held our Healing Arts Retreats.

My first sound bath experience, my first and only time playing live music in a band under the light of the full moon (something I secretly always wanted to do)

The only year both my boys shared the same school — Jack graduated kindergarten and Vinnie graduated 5th grade.

My 2nd year (of many) teaching kids yoga, beach yoga and special needs yoga.

The year my favorite twins were born… and the year my favorite brother-in-law died.

Grief and becoming, held side by side.
2016 was doing more than I realized. 🤍
