Valley Health - Addiction Treatment and Recovery Services Valley Health offers comprehensive addiction and recovery services in Huntington and Hurricane.

Valley Health offers comprehensive MAT programs at the Hurricane and Highlawn health centers. Participants in these programs are prescribed maintenance therapy medication(s) that are FDA approved to treat opioid dependence or alcohol dependence, in combination with regularly scheduled professional therapy services, advocacy to reduce challenges or barriers to recovery, and access to a peer recover

y coach. All patients are individually assessed to determine the most appropriate plan of care including medication type, dosage, and frequency of services. Within the Highlawn MAT Program, women who are pregnant and postpartum are offered additional case management and support services through our Drug Free Moms and Babies Program. It is the mission of the providers within Valley Health’s MAT program to provide the highest quality in addiction services to those who are seeking outpatient treatment and pursuing an improved quality of life. We believe every person should be respected and treated with dignity and compassion. We value and believe in the possibilities of hope, honesty, and hard work.

The West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy has issued a warning about an increase in overdoses, based on data from the Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP). If you witness an overdose, call 911 immediately and administer naloxone if available—quick action saves lives.
