Thank you to the Rotary for inviting Mike to speak this month about the interesting history of our beautiful historic funeral home in downtown Huntington. Mike enjoyed all the great questions and being able to share stories of this wonderful historic landmark.

The Huntington Rotary Club was pleased to welcome Mike from McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home as our guest speaker this week!

Mike gave us a thoughtful look at the funeral service profession and the meaningful role funeral homes play in supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments. His visit offered an opportunity to learn, connect, and reflect on the many ways local professionals serve our community with compassion and care.

We’re grateful to Mike for sharing his time, experience, and commitment with our club. Visits like his remind us of the strong community connections that make Huntington special—and inspire us to continue living out Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.
