Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. We took a drive to check out the changing leaves. We saw bonus ducks and a huge heron.

A shout out to our friend, Sara Ramezani! Thank you so much for doing a training for us on how to use all of the online resources Cabell County Libraries provide. And bonus, updating a few expired library cards for us! Thank you for all you do for us and the community. ❤️

So much gratitude for our garden partners, Shaun, Johnna and Jordan! We joined forces and grew a huge garden! We learned so much from these talented and passionate gardeners. We got together and took down the fence on Saturday with some friends. It’s sad to see it close for the season, but Spring will be here soon. Shaun is going to teach us how to set us up a hydroponic space in the day program. She works with community gardeners and educating the public through Unlimited Future.

And a huge shout out to everyone who has volunteered and donated plants and experience. ❤️

It was special to have this beautiful Monarch there on Saturday benefiting from our first pollinator garden. We feel blessed. 🌸🦋🌺🐝🌼

Hopewell Community Services Annual Trunk or Treat will be held Thursday, October 29th from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Our first garden has been a joy. Look how tall the corn grew! At the end of the month, the community garden closes until Spring. On Saturday morning we will be taking down the fence around our plots. If anyone would like to pitch in and help, message us. Thanks!

The WV ATC is pleased to announce an upcoming series of 4 virtual presentations designed to provide valuable information and tips to parents and caregivers of individuals with autism. The series begins October 6th and will be held weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm through October 27, 2026. Each session will address a specific topic. They are free and open to the public but do require registration. Please visit the following website or use the QR code in the attached flyer to access the registration website.
