Every family deserves a birth experience that feels right for them — not one shaped by pressure, fear, or the idea that there’s only one “right” way to give birth. 🤍

That’s what Intuitive Birth is all about.

It’s a relaxed and honest class where you can ask questions, understand your options, and learn what may work best for you and your birth. No judgment. No pressure. Just real information, practical tools, and support to help you feel more prepared.

And the results speak for themselves. Intuitive Birth students are 68% less likely to have a cesarean, and 70% of those who birth vaginally do so without pain medication.

If you’re looking for childbirth education that helps you feel informed and prepared without overwhelming you, Intuitive Birth might be a great fit.

Epidurals are one of the most common ways to manage pain during labor, and for many birthing people, they can provide much-needed relief.

But before making your decision, it’s helpful to know what you might experience and what the possible side effects are.

Some common side effects can include:
• A drop in blood pressure
• Itchy skin
• Nausea or vomiting
• A slight increase in temperature

More serious complications are rare, but they can happen. These may include infection, bleeding around the spinal cord, or a spinal headache. That doesn’t mean you should or shouldn’t get an epidural. Every pregnancy, body, and birth is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to pain management.

The more you know about your options, the better you can have those conversations with your care team and make the choice that feels right for you.

You deserve to feel informed, supported, and confident in your birth choices. 📑

Save this for later or share it with an expecting mama who might find it helpful!

Your partner and your doula don’t have to compete for a role. 💜

Your partner brings the love, comfort, and knowing you. Your doula brings experience, guidance, and another layer of support.

Together, they can make you feel even more supported through birth. ✨
Because birth is better when you don’t have to do it alone.

We’ll be with you from the moment you go into labor until you welcome your little one. 🤍

Sometimes birth doesn’t go exactly the way you pictured it, and that’s okay. Your birth plan may include interventions, or you may need to transfer to the hospital. Whether you’re birthing at home, at a birth center, or in a hospital, we’re here to support you through it all.

If things don’t go as planned, we’ll be right there beside you, helping you through whatever comes next.

And our support doesn’t stop after birth. We’re here to help you process your birth experience and everything that comes with it, too. 🤍

That first cuddle with your baby is so much more than a sweet moment. Skin-to-skin contact helps your baby adjust to the outside world while supporting their breathing, heart rate, temperature, and early breastfeeding.

✨ Some benefits of skin-to-skin include:
• More stable breathing and heart rate
• Better temperature regulation
• Less crying
• Supporting early breastfeeding
• Encouraging bonding between baby and parent

Babies are naturally wired for that closeness. Sometimes, they just need the warmth, time, and space to do what comes naturally. 🤍

If you’re planning your birth, consider adding skin-to-skin to your birth preferences. That first hour can be such a special one.

A postpartum doula is there to support you emotionally and practically during those early weeks with your baby.

That might look like:
✓ A listening ear when you need to talk
✓ Help processing your birth experience
✓ Encouragement as you heal and adjust
✓ Light household support
✓ Help with meals and grocery shopping
✓ Support as siblings and pets adjust to the new family dynamic

And the benefits can be meaningful, too.

Families who work with postpartum doulas often experience greater breastfeeding success, more confidence in understanding their baby's needs, more time to rest and bond, and less anxiety as they navigate life with a newborn.

Because caring for a baby is important, but caring for the parents matters too.
