And research on continuous labor support has found:

→ 31% decrease in Pitocin use
→ 28% decrease in C-section risk
→ 12% increase in spontaneous vaginal births
→ 34% decrease in dissatisfaction with the birth experience

These are findings from earlier research, not guaranteed outcomes for every birth.

Did you know a simple birth ball can be helpful even before labor begins?

If you're pregnant and looking for ways to feel a little more comfortable, a birth ball might be worth trying! 💜

During pregnancy, gently bouncing, rocking your hips, or making slow circles can help ease some of those everyday aches and support better posture.

And when labor comes, that same birth ball can help you move around, find positions that feel good, and work through contractions a little more comfortably.

It's one of those simple things that can come in handy throughout pregnancy and birth.

The linea nigra is a normal pregnancy change caused by hormones, and it usually fades gradually after birth.

Nothing to fix. Nothing to hide. Just another little reminder of all your body is doing to grow your baby. 🥰

The days after having a baby can bring so many feelings. You’re healing, getting to know your little one, figuring out a new routine, and probably wondering if you’re doing any of it right.

A postpartum doula is there to support you while you care for your baby. Sometimes that means having someone to talk to, helping you process your birth experience, or simply having an extra set of hands while you adjust to this new season.

💠Emotional support can look like:
• Having someone listen without judgment
• Talking through your birth experience with you and your partner
• Supporting you as you heal and bond with your baby

💠Practical support can look like:
• Helping with light housekeeping
• Preparing meals or helping with groceries
• Helping older siblings and pets adjust to the new routine

You don’t have to do this part alone.
Having someone there to support you can make those early days feel a little lighter.

Pregnancy changes so much. Your body, your emotions, your energy, and sometimes even the way you see yourself.

Having someone beside you who checks in, helps with the little things, listens, and reminds you that you’re not alone can make such a difference.

And you don’t have to go through it all on your own. A doula can be another steady person in your corner, helping you feel prepared, supported, and cared for throughout pregnancy and birth.

As you get closer to birth, you’ll probably hear more about how your baby is positioned. And yes, it can make a difference in how baby moves through your pelvis during labor.

You may hear:
• Head-down — baby’s head is toward the birth canal. This is the most common position for birth.
• Breech — baby’s bottom or feet are down instead of their head. Some babies will still turn on their own before labor.
• Transverse — baby is lying sideways.

A lot can influence baby’s position, including your uterus, placenta, fluid levels, and baby’s own movement. 👶

Walking, changing positions, and staying active may support mobility, but there’s no guaranteed way to control it.

And if baby isn’t head-down yet, don’t panic. Babies can move throughout pregnancy and sometimes even during labor.

Knowing their position can simply help you feel more prepared and know what questions to ask your care team.
