Recently, our front desk took a phone call from Mark Schultz. That's right! The Dove Award winning, contemporary Christian music artist Mark Schultz. He shared parts of his personal story with adoption and wanted to thank Open Door Health Services for all we do.

Friends, our hearts are so full after a visit from the Kansas Bible Camp. 32 young women came to tour our center and learn more about all we do at Open Door Health Services. Since the group was too large to take all at once, those waiting for the next tour took the time to write notes of encouragement for the moms we see. I can assure you our clients will be blessed by these sweet words of strength and perseverance. The most moving part of our time together was having these young women form prayer circles before they left. Their prayers for Open Door, our mission and the women we serve still give staff goosebumps to this very day. Our sincere appreciation to the Kansas Bible Camp for taking the time to help us empower families to make healthy, life-affirming choices. Please also lift the Kansas Bible Camp up in prayer this week. We are so thankful for the opportunity to connect with them!

Ask one of our many supporters why they give to Open Door and the responses will vary. It seems each donor has a heartfelt story to share. We recently received this comment from a current supporter, "I support Open Door because they are definitely led by God. They help mothers, fathers and babies. Open Door is a place where are all welcome and will be shown the love of God." We love how this donor describes what we strive to do each day with the Lord's help.
