I have so many thoughts about this. While I genuinely appreciate others sharing their truth, I feel that often the disconnect comes from lack of curiosity. We live in an era of "cancel culture". When we are not aligned with others way of living, its sometimes best for us to honor our full authenticity and gravitate to those who are on the same wave length. I am absolutely for cancel culture simply because I have self abandoned for way too long. My peace and living in my full authenticity is way more valuable than holding on to someone who does not share the same values. If we are able to come to others with more curiosity, compassion, and genuine desire to understand rather than belittle them, our world would feel more balanced. Regardless of others adopting my beliefs, I'm going to continue to live in my authenticity and strive for more.
