"Therapy is about understanding the self that you are.

But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself— to let go of the limiting stories you've told yourself about who you are so that you aren't trapped by them; so you can live your life, and not the story you've been telling yourself about your life."

It is not uncommon for people to experience a variety of overlapping symptoms, including SAD, heat related irritability and sleep issues, body images issues, or substance abuse.

If you or someone you know is struggling with these issues, reaching out to a mental health professional can provide support and strategies to manage these challenges effectively.

Getting therapy isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a sign of strength. 💪🧠

It takes courage to look at yourself honestly, to ask for help, and to choose growth over pretending everything’s fine. Therapy can help you understand yourself better, heal old wounds, build healthier relationships, and learn tools to handle life when it gets heavy.

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to deserve support. You don’t have to do everything alone. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your body — and choosing therapy is choosing yourself. 🤍

RHS in Ammon currently has no waitlist for therapy services and even has interns available for those without insurance.

❄️ As winter approaches, we may find our loved ones experience increased depression, hardship, or even crisis. 😔

To help a loved one during the winter there are several things you can do including providing emotional support by listening without judgment, offering practical help like assisting with errands, preparing meals, or ensuring their home is warm and well-lit.

Other steps that may help a loved one is to encourage them to seek professional help if needed, and support them by creating a routine, fostering social connection, and preparing for emergencies like power outages.
