🎓 Graduation Day Is Fast Approaching! 🎓

There is something so special about watching our students walk through our doors on their first day and then seeing them walk across the stage as confident, skilled massage therapists. 💆‍♀️

At the International Institute of Massage Therapy, we have always been incredibly proud of our graduates. We love watching students come and go, grow in their skills, discover their passion, and go on to build lives and careers doing something they truly love.

And while we’re getting ready to celebrate another graduating class, we’re also getting excited for the new students who will begin their journey with us this September!

Every class brings new personalities, new stories, new friendships, and new future massage therapists—and we can’t wait to see what this next group will accomplish.

Before they ever begin working with clients, our students are introduced to a variety of massage techniques and wellness practices.

Thai Massage is just one of the many modalities they learn, combining assisted stretching, movement, and bodywork to help improve flexibility, relieve tension, and promote relaxation. Students are also introduced to smudging and its traditional uses, learning how it can be respectfully incorporated into creating a peaceful, intentional environment.

At the International Institute for Massage Therapy, we're committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to serve their future clients.

Every new skill is another step toward becoming an exceptional massage therapist, and we love being part of that process.

Join us at the International School of Massage Therapy for an immersive and fulfilling meditation experience designed to help you relax, recharge, and reconnect in a peaceful and welcoming environment. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to step away from daily stress and focus on calm, clarity, and inner balance. This session offers a beautiful, Zen space for nurturing your mind, body and spirit. Come take time for yourself and experience the power of stillness and renewal.

Each meditation will be its own immersive, reconnecting experience, so you won’t want to miss a single one!

Bring water, a journal and a pen, and a yoga mat, blanket, and anything to make yourself comfortable during the meditation.

Meditations will be held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the International Institute of Massage Therapy, 148 N Corner St.

Thai Massage combines assisted stretching, rhythmic compression, and mindful movement to help improve flexibility, increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote deep relaxation. It's a beautiful blend of bodywork that leaves clients feeling both energized and restored.

Therapist Spotlight: Meet Melissa Ferry, LMT

At the International Institute of Massage Therapy, we're proud to have talented therapists who are passionate about helping others, and Melissa Ferry is one of them.

Melissa has been a licensed massage therapist for over four years, with more than ten years of hands-on massage experience. She specializes in pain management while also offering relaxing, therapeutic, and deep tissue massage. Every session is thoughtfully customized because she believes every body, every story, and every source of pain is different.

The International Institute of Massage Therapy holds a special place in Melissa's heart. Although it was her second massage school, she says it was the place that truly shaped her into the therapist she is today. The staff, students, and community made a lasting impact, and she is grateful to now practice in the same place that helped launch her career.

Melissa is known for her warm, bubbly personality and her genuine desire to help people feel their best. She strives to make every client feel welcomed, heard, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

She is now accepting clients!
