Valley Eye Care is pleased to introduce Dr. Cory Zwahlen, O.D.

Dr. Zwahlen joined Dr. Rhinehart at Valley Eye Care in 2024. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho in Biomedical Science. He then graduated magna cm laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN with his Doctor of
Optometry degree. During his education, Dr. Zwahlen completed clinical rotations focusing on specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, low vision, pediatrics, and vision therapy.

Dr. Zwahlen loves serving patients of all ages. He finds satisfaction in helping you see your best in glasses and contacts and finding the best treatment plan for every person. While he enjoys fitting glasses and contacts, Dr. Zwahlen also excels at managing eye health conditions and caring for patients with diabetes, cataracts, macular degeneration, eye infections, and much more. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Idaho Optometric Physicians Association.

When Dr. Zwahlen is not helping others with their eyes and vision, you can find him spending time with his amazing wife and three spirited children. He enjoys swimming, cycling, hiking, and
singing.

Feeling a bit off? Not your normal awesome self?

Your symptoms may be hard to define and the cause(s) can be even harder to pinpoint.

If you feel tired, have trouble concentrating or sustaining your productivity, you may be suffering from sleep deprivation, dehydration, poor nutrition or lack of physical activity. Generally, such concerns can be positively altered, to some extent, by lifestyle modification.

You may also experience these and other symptoms due to a host of other conditions. Diagnosing and managing these requires more than just self-awareness and lifestyle modification - they also require appropriate medical care. Problems caused by blurry vision, eyestrain, poor-fitting or dirty contact lenses, dry eyes and light-sensivity are generally easy to fix through a comprehensive health history, a careful yet efficient refraction, a thorough examination of your eyes and a detailed discussion of your visual needs and options.
