🍂 Hello September from Lincoln Court! 🍁

September is here, and we have another fun-filled month of activities, outings, entertainment, and special events planned for our residents!

Some of the exciting things coming up this month include fishing at Lyle Albertson’s Pond, Fort Hall and Eastern Idaho Fair trips, Old Time Fiddlers, mini horse visits, scenic drives, painting club, pet bingo, raspberry picking, and our resident birthday party! 🎣🎶🐴🎨🎂

We’re also looking forward to our High Adventure to Butterfly Haven, the U-Pick Red Barn event with lunch, a Flu Shot & Vaccination Clinic, and plenty of Bingo—including some Double Points Bingo! 🦋🍎💉

Of course, our calendar is packed with resident favorites like Bingo, Pinochle, Billiards, Chair Exercises, Book Club, Beading Club, Painting Club, Happy Hour, movies, shopping trips, and more!

🍁 September is going to be a great month at Lincoln Court! We love keeping our residents active, connected, and making wonderful memories together. ❤️

The garden boxes in our Memory Care have started to produce. Our residents enjoyed some fresh cucumber slices. We hope we will be able to enjoy more veggies soon.

💜 Proud moment with our residents today!

We headed down to Snake River Landing for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, all dressed in purple and standing together in the fight. Our residents took part in the Promise Garden by holding the colorful flowers—each one representing a different connection to this disease:
💙 Blue – for those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
💛 Yellow – for caregivers and supporters.
💜 Purple – in memory of those we’ve lost.
🧡 Orange – for everyone supporting the cause and a future without Alzheimer’s.
🤍 White – representing the first survivor of Alzheimer’s and the hope that one day we will find a cure.

It was a meaningful morning of hope, community, and solidarity. We’re so proud of our residents for participating and helping raise awareness.
Together, we walk. Together, we ENDALZ!

🎶☀️ Lincoln Court Residents Enjoy Alive After Five! ☀️🎶

What a wonderful way to wrap up the summer! Our Lincoln Court residents had a fantastic time at Alive After Five, enjoying live music from Keagan Park and Judd Erickson. 🎸🎤

There was plenty of great music, smiles, laughter, and fun as we enjoyed the last summer concert of the season. ❤️ We love getting out in our community, making memories, and spending time together!

We had such a wonderful day taking our residents out to Michelle & Ben’s farm to see the mini horses and to have a picnic lunch, and it was pure joy. 😊☀️
Everyone loved spending time with the friendly horses, meeting the precious new c**t, and petting the adorable mini horses, as well as the cat! 🐈
The weather was perfect—sunny and pleasant—and the smiles said it all. Moments like these are what it’s all about. 🐴❤️

One of our amazing memory care families brought us a rose bush in memory of their sweet mother who was one of our cherished residents.

Since it is August, our Memory Care residents have enjoyed camping themed activities. The smores were especially delicious.
