Drowning is quiet. No thrashing or shouting, just stillness where there shouldn't be. May is National Trauma Awareness Month, and as Idaho heads toward summer on the rivers and reservoirs, knowing what to watch for matters. If someone’s head is low in the water, their eyes look glassy or they are not moving, immediately seek help. Quick action can save lives.
