Crawling does a lot more than help babies get from point A to point B. 👀

When babies crawl, they’re developing skills that carry over into so many areas, including:

✏️ Fine motor skills, like handwriting, using utensils, and getting dressed.

🧠 Bilateral coordination, helping both sides of the body work together.

👀 Visual skills, like focusing, tracking, and navigating their environment.

🗣️ Foundations that support communication, as movement, motor planning, and early language development happen alongside one another.

🧗 Gross motor skills, like climbing, navigating stairs, running, and playing.

Crawling isn’t just a step before walking. It helps little bodies and brains build skills they’ll continue using as they grow.❤️
