This was my line-in-the-sand moment.
Before I left for Tulum, I prayed one of the most dangerous prayers a person can pray:
"God, remove anything from my life that isn't aligned with my highest path."
And God answered.
Not gently. Not comfortably. Not in a way that felt good.
Within weeks, my 2.5-year relationship ended.
Then I lost my default-world job.
The two things I had been leaning on for security were suddenly gone.
For a moment, it felt like my entire life shattered.
But what if it wasn't shattering?
What if it was actually alignment?
Lately I've been learning about the Destroyer archetype.
The woman who understands that creation requires destruction first.
The woman willing to burn down what no longer serves her.
The woman who stops clinging to relationships, jobs, identities, and stories that no longer fit.
I used to think destruction meant failure. Now I see it differently.
Sometimes destruction is divine intervention.
Sometimes God removes what you've been unwilling to release yourself.
Not to punish you.
To free you.
This season has been heartbreaking, uncertain, messy, and beautiful all at the same time.
But for the first time in a long time, I'm no longer building my life around fear, security, or what I think I should do.
I'm building it around truth.
Tulum wasn't a vacation.
It was a portal.
And the woman who came home isn't the same woman who got on that plane.
The old version of me had to die.
And honestly?
Thank God.
