Brian Walshe has been sentenced for the crimes that he has now been convicted of. He received a life sentence without the possibility of parole, 19 years for lying to police and three years for the illegal disposal of human remains. He was also sentenced concurrently for the art theft situation. Now, here in the state of Massachusetts there is an appeal process. He will most likely be filing an appeal. Whether that appeal is granted or not, that’s a different conversation, however, as of right now, he will be in jail for the rest of his natural life.

Hoping that the Brown university suspect is caught sooner rather than later! Looks like the biggest issue with this, is the fact that they lifted the shelter in place a little bit prematurely. We were told he was potentially still in Rhode Island, then Massachusetts and now possibly in New Hampshire… Do they know where he is?

Nick Reiner did not show up to his very first court appearance on December 16, 2025. It’s actually very common procedure to be medically cleared from the county jail before you are able to leave the facility. According to Alan Jackson, his defense attorney, he has not cleared medical at this time.

Brown university suspect has been found with a self-inflicted wound. This is actually the worst case scenario because we will never truly understand why the suspect chose to do what he did. With police investigations, we will be able to speculate the motives however we will most likely never truly know. Unless of course there’s a note written somewhere where there’s something documented, everything will be based on speculation from here on in. Great work by the federal Bureau of investigation, Providence, police and Salem, New Hampshire police. # # # # #
