Authentic Life is growing and we’re thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Kathy Liao!
Kathy is a student intern under the supervision of Amber Dealy, LPC, and she is now accepting self‑pay clients ages 10 and up.

Kathy’s unique blend of clinical training, creative arts experience, and years as an educator allows her to offer a warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive counseling space. She values creativity as a powerful tool for healing and works collaboratively with clients to navigate life transitions, identity, stress, and trauma.

Her approach is relational, culturally responsive, and grounded in curiosity and compassion. Kathy is committed to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward growth.

We are honored to welcome her to Authentic Life and excited for the meaningful impact she will have within our community.

We are absolutely thrilled with the new mural created by local artist Kayla Hill for our new family waiting room. There are many ongoing projects in our new building that we are excited about but this is one of our favorites.

We had so much fun this week for our SPIRIT WEEK competition! We would like to thank the team members who participated. Throughout the week there were many opportunities to earn points. Tisha was the best leader in this competition. She brought the fun to our building everyday. Congratulations Tisha on winning the $100 Amazon gift card. You definitely earned it. Happy Independence Day Weekend!

Matt Gilme just passed his clinical exam, which means he’s this close to becoming an official LCSW.
Status: LCSW Loading… 99% Complete ⏳⚡

All that’s left is submitting his application, and then the license becomes official. We’re incredibly proud of him and excited for what’s ahead!
