👟 FYZICAL’s Peter Renz recently put on his "proud dad" hat to chaperone 34 local high school runners (from West Shore, Edgewood, Satellite, Pineapple Cove, and Cocoa Beach ) on an epic Blue Ridge Mountains training trip! 🌲⛰️

Trip Highlights:
🏃‍♀️ Logging miles at Trout Lake, Flat Top Manor, the Greenway, and the historic Virginia Creeper Trail,

🚣‍♂️ Recovery time tubing down the slow waters of the Watauga River,

☕ Fueling up at in Damascus, VA—a special shout-out to the incredible mother-daughter owners for their amazing brew and the absolute best warm oatmeal chocolate cookies! 🍪☕,

⛺ Endless team bonding and nostalgic summer camp vibes!

Sharing the views with his daughter was the ultimate highlight. 💙 And as a PT, Peter’s passion for proper body mechanics didn't stop, he happily stayed busy guiding stretches, taping ankles, and sharing compression boots! 🦵⚡

Your knee is more than a hinge joint—it’s a living, biologically active system. Cartilage health is maintained by cells that respond to their environment. And research shows that osteoarthritis (OA) progression is driven less by “mechanical grinding” and more by 𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰, 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 that disrupts that environment. ⁣

🕵️‍♂️ The Ultimate PT Band Blindfold Test!
Spoiler alert: It is way harder than it looks! 😅👇
For anyone who hasn’t used them, PT bands (or resistance bands) are those stretchy, colorful rubber bands we use in the clinic to help patients safely build strength and recover from injuries.
We put our FYZICAL staff to the ultimate test! As our patients know, the resistance of these bands can vary wildly by color, brand, and style—meaning two bands that look similar can feel completely different.
Let’s just say... they definitely didn’t get a perfect score! 📈❌
