Rowan is just 6 years old and was diagnosed with CLN3 Batten disease, which is neurodegenerative and fatal. Please help and share her story.

Rowan was happy to bake a birthday cake with her sweet teacher earlier this week and proudly presented her creation!

First day of First Grade! Lots of things are in place this year to give this girl every opportunity! I heard she was very interested in her new classroom today and that means touching every. single. thing. I heard her new classmates were friendly and sweet. I’m sure she will make many new friends!

Rowan wearing her “braille dot” Little Sleepies pjs holding a new singing bunny a sweet friend of mine gave her recently! She’s had a great attitude lately and we’ve had a lot of fun. Batten disease appears to cause waves where life is good for a while, meaning she is peaceful and happy and then we hit rough patches that cause agitation, tears and heartbreaking meltdowns. For now, we choose to blissfully live in today, because today is a good day.❤️
