Since 2000, Dove House empowers women to become substance free, self-sufficient, and healthy on their journey of recovery.

With 40 beds available, Dove House offers the largest transitional housing and recovery program for women in Indy at no cost.

Construction delays may have canceled our ribbon-cutting, but they haven't slowed our momentum!

We are thrilled to share that construction is nearly complete. Last week, we were able to begin using our downstairs kitchen area again, which means Morning Reflections and hot lunches are back to their original location. Earlier this week, artist Megan Jefferson painted a generously donated mural, adding a beautiful touch to our waiting area.

Now comes the exciting part: cleaning, decorating, and continuing to transform this space into a welcoming home for the women we serve. Each day, it feels a little more like home.

Before long, 55 women each night will find safety, support, and a foundation for recovery within these walls.

Due to ongoing construction delays, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the August 5 ribbon-cutting ceremony for our Marion County location.

While we're disappointed that we can't celebrate with you as planned, we're grateful for your continued support and look forward to sharing updates and celebrating together soon.

168 hours. Countless acts of kindness. One incredible impact.

This month, a team from Catholic HEART Workcamp rolled up their sleeves and got to work at Dove House in Dubois County. From pressure washing and weeding to organizing, building shelves, and preparing meals for our residents, they tackled project after project with enthusiasm and care.

Their service helped make our house feel even more like home for the women we serve.

To all of our volunteers: thank you for investing your time, energy, and compassion in our mission and the women we serve. This work does not happen without community.❤️🕊️

Madison came to Dove House in 2022 after years of battling substance use disorder. Through her own hard work and determination, and the support and programming at Dove House, she built a new life in recovery, creating a stable and meaningful future for herself and her son.

Today, Madison is thriving. She has a job she loves, has earned a promotion, purchased a vehicle, and navigates life's challenges using the tools she gained in recovery.

In March, Madison celebrated four years of sobriety. We are incredibly proud of her and grateful she has allowed us to share her story. 🕊️❤️

We are so grateful to the Raintree Quilters Guild and the Sisters of St. Benedict for their service to Dove House in Jasper. Thanks to them, the women who come to us seeking recovery from substance use disorder are literally wrapped in love. 💕

Sometimes recovery teaches us that flexibility is just as important as planning.

When our lake day was canceled due to weather, our residents and alumni quickly pivoted to a pirate-themed escape room adventure.

The women problem-solved, practiced teamwork, and strengthened connections while having a great time. Although the day looked different than expected, it was a wonderful reminder that community, support, and fun can be found wherever the journey takes us. 🕊️❤️
