More than 80 nutrition education leaders from across the country came together today for the SNEB–ASNNA Hill Day to advocate for the future of nutrition education on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Together, they met with congressional offices to share how nutrition education improves health, strengthens communities, supports agriculture, and helps Americans make informed food choices. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to lend their voice and champion continued federal investment in evidence-based nutrition education!

SNEB has submitted a letter to the HELP Committee Chair, Senator Bill Cassidy, and Ranking Member, Senator Bernie Sanders, supporting the Childhood Diabetes Reduction Act of 2026.

We believe evidence-based nutrition education and policy play an important role in helping children and families make informed food choices. Our letter highlights support for transparent food labeling, nutrition research, public education, and protecting children from deceptive food marketing.
