At Oasis at 56th, we believe that everyday moments — like a fun shopping trip — bring so much joy and a sense of independence to the people we serve.

Our residents recently hopped on a bus and headed to the strip mall for a day of shopping! From Dollar Tree and Five Below to Walmart, Subway, and more — it was a great day filled with choices, smiles, and a little retail therapy. 🛒

These outings are about more than just shopping. They are about connection, freedom, and feeling at home in the community. We are proud to make experiences like this a regular part of life here.

What a wonderful Friday evening it turned out to be! 🎨 Residents at Oasis at 56th, had an absolutely delightful time exploring the world of miniature paintings during our Art and Craft class. There's something truly magical about creating tiny, intricate works of art that capture so much beauty in such a small space.

Our residents poured their creativity and passion into every brushstroke, bringing their miniature masterpieces to life with incredible detail and imagination. Art has a beautiful way of bringing people together, sparking joy, and nurturing the mind — and evenings like these remind us just how powerful creative expression can be.
