Innovative Hematology Innovative Hematology, Inc. (IHI) treats blood disorders—from common to rare—every day. IHI is home to the IHTC. The IHTC was established in 1998 by Amy D.

The IHI page is provided for general education. Shapiro, M.D., the center's co-medical director and pediatric hematologist, and Anne Greist, M.D., the center's co-medical director and adult hematologist. The center is located at the St. Vincent Hospital campus in Indianapolis, Ind. Patient care, research and education are the focus of the center.

Prepare Now!

Beginning January 1, 2027, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) participants must prove to be in a work program, educational program, volunteer service or working 80 hours per month to maintain their health coverage. HIP members will be required to verify their participation at each six-month redetermination.

There will be exemptions to the requirement determined by Medicaid for certain individuals. For more information about the requirements or the exemptions contact an Innovative Hematology Insurance Coordinator at 317-871-0011 ext. 1583.
