Can machine learning help pediatricians identify which children are most likely to develop persistent asthma?

A pilot randomized clinical trial led by Regenstrief Institute researcher Arthur Owora, PhD, found that an EHR-integrated machine learning tool improved clinicians' ability to predict future persistent asthma in standardized clinical scenarios without requiring additional testing or questionnaires.
