𝟏...𝟐...𝟑........𝟓?

Hello, Friends!!

Take a breath. Now, take another. A nice, big deep one. Sometimes we get in such an excited rush to unravel and make peace with every one of our traumas and challenges, that we overlook the beauty and encompassing aspects of the healing process. And that dream you have? The frustration of it not manifesting as quickly as you wish can really be a punch in the gut. We may not reach our health goals, bridge those difficult relationships and endure those life changes with as much grace as we thought we would...but that doesn't negate the journey.

You cannot properly count from one to five without recognizing the two, three and four. The steps between the start of an idea or journey and the point of reaching the desired or surprising conclusion are the things that will help shape you, change you, bring you mental resilience and focus, prepare your body for a new way of life, create new habits in your actions and thinking, open up a new awareness, bring peace to old haunts, instill wisdom and allow your light to shine brighter.

So, take that breath. Take another. A nice, big deep one. Look at the bigger picture and see the grandness in each and every step you take on this journey...the difficult, the joyful, the ones that bring tears to your eyes, and the ones the bring you peace. They are all significant and part of your unique story. You wouldn't be who you are without each and every one.

Reiki has been an incredible aspect to the healing journey of more souls than we can count for more generations than we have written records for. If you are ready to explore bringing a new peace and understanding to your mind, body and spirit, I'm waiting patiently to hear from you...

Wishing you love and peace in this moment and always,
Shelley

A Time for Change

Hello, Friends!!

Many of us in Indiana are on the edge of our seats, ready and waiting for changes the fall season will bring... There's a special magic with every change of season we experience, but there's just something a little extra enjoyable about the temperatures cooling off, the beauty and smell of the changing leaves and the crisp bite in the air on clear nights full of stars. Change is inevitable...change is beautiful...

Like the seasons in nature, we also undergo many changes throughout our lives, often having different "versions" ourselves as we progress on our journeys. It's natural to want to start a new chapter with big changes in life - a change in relationship status, a change of home, welcoming a new child into a family or saying "I'm proud of you" as your loved one leaves for college, or even changing jobs. These are just a few examples of changes we undergo...the list is endless. Sometimes we choose these changes, sometimes change is a response to our circumstances. In response to the roller coaster of emotions we experience in the midst of transformation, sometimes we'll feel the need to rearrange the furniture, change our hairstyle, find new hobbies, create new routines or "reinvent" ourselves. There are also times we've made mistakes or perhaps lived a version of ourselves that wasn't our favorite, and we naturally want to bury the negative feelings involved with those situations.

Like the natural progression of the seasonal changes we experience in nature, it's important to view each chapter of life or version of yourself from a higher perspective. We often learn our greatest life lessons in the midst of our highest highs and most challenging situations...and the steps in between each extreme. It doesn't mean we need to bury or try to forget the things we didn't like or didn't resonate with...it means that simply wasn't our favorite chapter of the story we're writing and living, and it's time to turn the page to a new one. We don't "hate the earth forever" because there was a drought or flood in a particular season, nor should we hate or be so hard on ourselves when things didn't go as planned or as magnificently as we wished. We learn to prepare to better handle the things that challenge us and try new avenues of action and understanding throughout our evolutions. Change is inevitable...change is beautiful...

Reiki can help you navigate the changes you undergo throughout all the chapters of your life, whether you're simply looking to relax from a hectic time or want to do a deep dive into your authentic, spiritual self. Reiki always addresses what you need most in the moment for the highest good of your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. If you are interested in exploring life from a higher perspective to bring relief to traumas, hard to discuss topics and overall curiosities, I would love to share a safe, non-judgmental space with you and help you turn the page to a new chapter...but also appreciate the story you've already written... You wouldn't be who you are today or who you will be tomorrow without your beautiful, perfectly imperfect past and the wonder of what tomorrow will bring.

Change is inevitable...change is beautiful...

Sending you love and peace for wherever you are on your journey today...

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀

Hello, Friends!!

I want to take a moment to thank each of you that participated in all the ways that you did with the meditation a couple weeks ago for those affected by the historic floods in Indiana. I’ve been able to hear about some of your experiences, and I’m so dearly grateful for each of your hearts, prayers, intentions and efforts. Thank you, thank you, thank you…

This photo is of one of my cats, Tink, while I was in meditation for the floods. He likes to join me whenever I engage in meditation or any kind of distance healing. He will either sleep on my lap or rest his paw on my face, and you can see what he was going for this time….haha! It’s so fun watching animals engage with and react to the energies! (For you animal lovers out there, don’t worry about his snaggle smile. He had a tumor in his mouth and it dislocated that tooth, but the doctor was able to save it. He’s checked regularly to make sure all is always well.)

For those of you interested in learning more about Reiki, please join us in one of our upcoming classes!

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬!

Hello, Friends...

Those of you in Indiana are already aware of the fact that we are experiencing historical flooding across areas of Indiana, with waters continuing to rise as we speak. Whether you are in Indiana or tuning in from another country...please...this message is for YOU. Please join me remotely this Sunday afternoon, August 16th at 2 p.m. EST for a special remote healing session to help all of those affected by this dangerous situation. Families have lost their entire homes, roads are collapsing and workers are out trying to combat the circumstances to the best of their ability. Whatever the modality of healing you prefer - Reiki, prayer, meditation, or something unique to your spiritual evolution - please join in to lift up the safety of all of these people, the peace to deal with these difficult emotions, and strength to keep moving forward to salvage and rebuild all that's been damaged and lost.

If you are unable to join in at that time, please give your love, peace and prayers whenever you are able. Good intentions will always find their way through the chaos of a storm.
You are loved and appreciated!! Please stay safe!!

Much Love,
Shelley

𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫

Hello, Friends!!

During some quiet time I was enjoying a few days ago, I was being incredibly grateful for one of the many positive effects of giving and receiving Reiki. When you engage in Reiki, you benefit from the Divine energy that is involved whether you are a practitioner or the one receiving a treatment. The positive attributes in life are enhanced in a deeper, more personal manner - love, forgiveness, understanding, joy, peace, openness, etc. For my personal journey, gratefulness tends to take deeper dives than simply appreciating a moment, and it keeps my awareness open to the connection we all share in "unseen" ways. For example, the sunflowers in this picture crossed my path at an unexpected time for an unexpected reason. Sunflowers are by far one of my most favorite flowers of all time. I was so grateful for the beauty and joy they brought to my spirit, but it went deeper than that. As I studied and cared for them, the divine awareness that Reiki has brought to my life was rolling full speed ahead. I was grateful for the sender, for the time and care it took to pick them. I was grateful for the caretaker(s) of the place where they grew, the hands that harvested them, the driver that delivered them, and the florist that arranged them. I was grateful to have a table for which to place them, sunlight through the windows and water to feed them. Are you getting the hint? They're not just beautiful, they represent the many hands of a greater connectedness that entwine us as humanity.

Our daily walks can be just as inspired if we remember to keep our eyes open to a higher perspective. The angry person we pass in public is angry because of something...we don't know what. The happy person we pass could be genuinely happy or really good at wearing a mask...we don't know which. The person deep in thought may be making the biggest decision of their lives in that very moment, contemplating the vastness of the universe or wondering if they remembered everything on their grocery list...we may never know. The point is that we all have a lot more going on inside than others will ever know on a surface level. There are many of us that don't even tell our loved ones what's going on in our hearts and minds. But we are all connected energetically, no matter our state of mind, busyness of schedule, physical ability or spiritual belief. We won't always mesh with everyone we meet, and we may not always immediately understand the lessons involved with all of our encounters and relationships. But don't let that deter you from rising to a higher perspective and remembering that this life is short. Be kind. Be open. Be willing to learn about others. Everyone and every situation are teachers, including yourself to others. You never know when your kind smile might be the moment of peace someone else secretly craves...

Sending you Reiki blessings and peace for this moment in your journey...and for all of your "unseen" challenges and dreams...

𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 - 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡

Hello, Friends!!

So many of us are friends with, related to, married to, or ARE emergency responders. These are high stress and too often thankless positions that so many people dedicate their lives to... To give back to our loved ones that sacrifice so much of their mental, physical, and spiritual health to keep us safe, all emergency responders (all law enforcement personnel, firefighters, and emergency medical services) will receive a 10% discount on all services from the Reiki Center of Indiana (classes excluded) for the month of August. This a judgement free, confidential, safe atmosphere to relax, receive Reiki treatments and talk about those things for which we often don't have the words. I look forward to seeing you and thanking you for your sacrifice and dedication...

If you have questions or would like to schedule a session, please call or text Shelley at 317-697-0993.
Knowing how complicated it can be to schedule personal time around work, personal responsibilities and families, this offer will be extended into September if the time of your choice is unavailable in August.

With love and gratitude,
Shelley

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

Hello, Friends!!

I hope you are all doing well in the midst of all the transition so many of you are enduring. It seems like everyone is really going through a lot with big life changes and personal reflections and growth. Stay strong, stay focused. Even good change can be difficult to navigate, but it's happening to guide you into new chapters. Trust the process...

The time is growing closer for me to move to a new office, and the legalities have all been squared away. I will take my last clients in my current location on Wednesday, July 1st, day hours, only - no evening appointments available. I will start taking appointments in the new office on Sunday, July 5th. Please continue to reach out via call or text at
317-697-0993 to schedule your appointment.

The new office is located in the Sycamore Springs office complex:
𝟒𝟕𝟒𝟓 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞
𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐀-𝟏
𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬, 𝐈𝐍 𝟒𝟔𝟐𝟓𝟎

Once you turn onto Statesmen Drive from 82nd Street, take the first immediate left once you get past the median of flowers. The office is at the front of the complex with the front door facing 82nd Street. Statesmen Drive is located between the major roads of Keystone and Allisonville and has a dedicated stoplight for easy access. For my physically challenged Dear Ones, this office is on the first floor and is close to the main entrance. Photos will be posted as soon as the new signage is in place.

I look forward to wrapping up an incredible chapter in the current location and starting a brand new one with many exciting things to come. Thank you for everything we've shared over these past few years, and I can't wait to see you in this new beginning!

Love and Blessings,
Shelley
