Because we believe everyone deserves dignity & comfort at the end of life, Morning Light runs the 12-bedroom Morning Light Home, serving individuals on hospice in Indiana at no charge. Morning Light, Inc., fosters non-profit community programs in Indiana for the terminally ill, seniors, families and the homebound who are without means and in need of health, wellness or end of life care.

Bingo & Boos is TOMORROW!

One final shoutout before our fang-tastic Halloween fundraiser! Join us tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, from 6–8:30 PM at MashCraft Fishers (11069 Allisonville Road) for an evening of Halloween-themed bingo, fantastic prizes, costumes, food, drinks, and plenty of laughs! Tickets are just $30 per person or $50 for two, including entry, a bingo card, and a complimentary drink! Best of all, every ticket supports Morning Light Home, providing free housing and compassionate care for individuals on hospice who need it most. 💙🏡💛

A very special day for our Morning Light family! This past Sunday, we had the wonderful opportunity to take Doug, one of our long-term residents on hospice, to Lucas Oil Stadium to experience the excitement & magic of an Indianapolis Colts game!

Joining Doug were a group of our dedicated Morning Light caregivers & staff members, Rachelle, Erick, Juana, Vivian, & Alexis, who spend their days providing comfort, compassion, & care to individuals at the end of life who weren’t able to attend.

This incredible experience was made possible thanks to Colts safety Cam Bynum ( #0), who generously put Morning Light forward to receive a block of tickets, giving our resident & caregivers the chance to enjoy a very special afternoon together.

Cam even went the extra mile, providing everyone with personalized Colts hats to remember the occasion!

For Doug, it was an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of an NFL game, & for our caregivers, a well-deserved chance to make some wonderful memories outside the Home.

A HUGE thank you to Cam Bynum & the entire Indianapolis Colts organization for their kindness, generosity, & for making this unforgettable experience possible!

60 years young and still rocking! Today we celebrated a very special milestone at the Morning Light Home as our newest resident, William, turned 60!

William is one cool guy, with some fantastic stories to tell, including his younger days hanging out with members of the legendary rock band Mötley Crüe before they got famous! A devoted husband and dog lover, he’s been a real pleasure to get to know.

And showing his generous spirit, William wanted to make sure that when his birthday cake was cut, there would be a slice for all the other residents to enjoy, too!

We’re so glad we could celebrate this special milestone with William, surrounded by some of the wonderful caregivers who are getting to know him and making him feel at home. Please join us in wishing William a very happy 60th birthday! Here’s to you, William! 💙🏡💛🎊

Our entryway lantern is glowing once again at the Morning Light Home. 🏮💙

Over the past two months, we have said goodbye to eleven residents: Freda, Wallace, Dee, Carolyn, Thomas, Jane, Chris, Linda, Joy, Patricia, and Scott.

Each brought their own story, their own personality, and their own place in the life of our home. Each leaves behind memories that will remain with us.

When a resident begins to transition, we light our entryway lantern as a quiet symbol of remembrance, inviting everyone who enters to pause and reflect.

Behind every name is a lifetime of memories, people who loved them, and a life that mattered.

It is our privilege at Morning Light to provide comfort, dignity, and companionship to individuals on hospice during their final chapter.

For all those we have lost, and all those who loved them, the light remains. 💙

It’s Wish List Wednesday, and Morning Light volunteer Jim and the much loved Morning Light chickens have a special request for you! Jim has been up bright and early this morning with fellow volunteer Libby, cutting back the gardens and keeping our outdoor spaces beautiful for residents and their families.

We’ve just celebrated the first work anniversary to our wonderful caregiver, Juana!

Juana is a real source of strength, comfort and kindness to our residents at the Morning Light Home. Her compassion makes a difference everyday in the lives of those we serve.

It was wonderful to be part of IndyVolved at Victory Field! Our Hospitality Coordinator, Kylee, spent the evening connecting with potential volunteers and sharing how they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents on hospice at the Morning Light Home.

This past week, we celebrated the work anniversary of our wonderful Social Services Manager, Kate Nickelson!

Kate is one of those incredible people who makes such a difference behind the scenes at Morning Light. From helping individuals in urgent need of housing and care find their way into the Morning Light Home, to supporting our residents and their families throughout their hospice journeys, Kate brings kindness and positivity to everything she does.

And as if that weren’t enough, she regularly makes life at the Home a little sweeter with her delicious homemade cookies, as you can see! 🍪
