We provide music therapy and music groups for children and adults of all ages and needs. Dynamic Music Therapy, Inc.

provides quality music therapy services throughout the greater Indianapolis area. We work with individuals on the Medicaid Waiver, in addition to group and 1:1 services at local businesses. Our music groups include everything from instrument play, singing, dancing, and reading, to learning sign language and developing community through music therapy and wellness!

Happy Dolly Day! Not an official holiday here in Indiana (but it is in California!), but we still wanted to take a moment and share a fun Dolly game with you all. Answers in the comments!

Song #1:
- In an interview, Dolly Parton revealed that the title of this song came from a young fan she encountered after a performance early in her career.
- DMS therapists sang this Dolly Parton song at least 40 times last year.
- The original song is in the key of c # minor.

Song #2
- In a 2009 interview with 60 minutes, Parton talked about the unlikely inspiration for this song: her fingernails.
- The original song is at 105 bpm, but most therapists at our office will tell you it ends up much faster when they play it in sessions.
- "It's enough to drive you crazy if you let it"

Song #3
- Shania Twain and Alison Krauss sang this on the 2003 tribute album "Just Because I'm A Woman: Songs of Dolly Parton."
- This is the titular song for Parton's album released in 1971.
- "I recall a box of rags that someone gave us and how my mama put the rags to use"
