We provide music therapy and music groups for children and adults of all ages and needs. Dynamic Music Therapy, Inc.

provides quality music therapy services throughout the greater Indianapolis area. We work with individuals on the Medicaid Waiver, in addition to group and 1:1 services at local businesses. Our music groups include everything from instrument play, singing, dancing, and reading, to learning sign language and developing community through music therapy and wellness!

"I have seen growth in my confidence as a clinician, and I have learned that I love to learn and teach others through presentations and supervision opportunities."

"I love getting to mix my two favorite things! Loving on and serving others and making music!"

🦋Lauren's Music Therapy Approach🦋
"My approach to music therapy is to let the individual(s) guide how the session proceeds. I value a humanistic approach to each session as I think of the person as a whole, regardless of what they have done in the past or the traumas they have endured. I believe in individualized sessions. Just as no person is the same in this life, no session that I facilitate will be the same as they are catered to the unique traits/skills that they have."

🦋If you were a food item, what would you be and why?🦋
"A sour patch kid! I would describe my "sweet" side as when I am compassionate and kind to others in every situation. My "sour" side is when I feel there is injustice or a time where advocacy for others is needed."

🦋Where did you intern?🦋
"Dynamic Music Services."

🦋What do you do for self-care outside of working hours?🦋
"I love to crochet! Most recently I have added in journaling as a self-care practice. My current favorite journaling prompt is naming things I want to let go of or do not serve me, practicing gratitude, and writing down affirmations to encourage self-love and confidence."

🦋What musical instruments are your favorite to use in sessions and why?🦋
"I love to utilize my guitar when I am facilitating sessions as it is the most adaptable in terms of tone, rhythm, and dynamics. I am able to change the way I am playing to match the individual's needs in the session. I especially love when I am able to adapt the guitar to make it more accessible for others to learn and play it."

Meet Lily
Hi! My name is Lily Paff, and I am a music therapist at Dynamic Music Services. I grew up doing various extracurriculars involving music, and always knew I wanted music to be included in my career path. I’m incredibly grateful I found music therapy because to me, music is a universal language, and I believe that everyone deserves music in whatever way they need it! Being a music therapist at Dynamic has allowed me to use this philosophy every day with a variety of client populations, and I can’t wait to use it with the Littles Group! Some of my interests outside of music include taking walks and exploring new areas, game nights, and cooking!
