Treatment duration alone doesn’t tell the whole story. For dogs and cats with coccidioidomycosis, MiraVista recommends a multimodal approach before discontinuing antifungal therapy.

✔️ Clinical signs and exam abnormalities should be resolved
✔️ Imaging should show appropriate improvement
✔️ Antigen should be negative if it was positive at diagnosis
✔️ Antibody ID results should meet recommended monitoring criteria

No single test should be used in isolation when deciding whether treatment can safely stop.
