On Tuesday, we attended the National FFA Organization Kickoff Luncheon for its annual convention, and what an inspiring event it was! We loved seeing firsthand how our educational partnership is reaching teens from coast to coast and everywhere in between. Together, we’re helping the next generation of agricultural leaders make sun safety a priority!

More than 70,000 FFA members and leaders will be in our home town this week for the National FFA Organization Convention.
This year, we launched a new partnership with the FFA aimed at sun-safety education and awareness. Working together, we’ve developed a program for teens to learn about the importance and dangers of the sun in agricultural careers.

Each one of these groups has spent hundreds of hours perfecting their show. Through our partnership with Music for All these young marchers are also learning ways to protect their skin during all those outdoor rehearsals.

Outrun the Sun and the National FFA Organization are teaming up to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders with essential sun-safety skills. FFA students are learning how the sun affects more than just crops—it can also impact the health and safety of people working across a wide range of agricultural careers.

It's estimated that less than fifty percent of dermatology cases are correctly diagnosed when they are addressed by non-dermatologists. In medical schools across the United States, students who are not studying dermatology as a specialty may not be learning all they need to know to detect skin cancer.
