At American Village, we love seeing young leaders make a difference in their community. ❤️ We’re so grateful to Caden McQueen of BSA Troop 174 Indianapolis for choosing our campus for his Eagle Scout project.

With the help of fellow Scouts, Caden completed several projects that will be enjoyed for years to come, including:

🐦 Handcrafted birdhouses that add charm and welcome wildlife to one of our outdoor spaces
📚 A Little Free Library near our Garden Homes
🌳 A rebuilt wooden bridge that helps our grounds team safely care for the natural areas of our campus
🌼 A raised garden bed for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents

Our residents are already enjoying the garden, and we love seeing them planting flowers and making the space their own! 🌸😊

Becoming an Eagle Scout takes hard work, leadership, and dedication, and Caden showed all three throughout this project. Thank you, Caden, and Troop 174, for helping make American Village an even more beautiful place to call home. 💙
